Happy birthday, Shahrukh Khan :)

This is vintage SRK. I miss Bombay. I miss going to Maratha Mandir and feel so happy looking at the DDLJ poster.

A Single Man (2009)
“Now more than ever seems it rich to die,
To cease uponthe midnight with no pain..”
                                                   - John Keats
———
“A few times in my life, I’ve had moments of absolute clarity, when for a few brief seconds the silence drowns out the noise and I can feel rather than think, and things seem so sharp and the world seems so fresh. I can never make these moments last. I cling to them, but like everything, they fade. I have lived my life on these moments. They pull me back to the present, and I realise that everything is exactly the way it was meant to be.”
(A Single Man, 2009—Tom Ford)

Marxist interprations - although I usually disagree with them - are extremely interesting. (Although I don’t find it quite as stimulating as Feminist Criticism)
Literary Criticism, Paper V - 50 supremely exciting minutes every week since June - and its been amazing. Its like when you find something, you have tools to colour it in any way you wish. This is my I chose Literature. This is why I love Literature. This is why I’ll always love Literature.

Beautiful, wasn’t it?
I want to experience watching it for the first time again.
I’ve never looked that these films as adaptations, for reasons I don’t know myself. So they’ve never really disappointed me in the way they have disappointed some of my fellow-HP-fans. I love them for what they are, as separate entities. And this one, well, was spectacular :)
“You complete arse Ronald Weasley!”
